Americans posses varying levels of Public Speaking Anxiety when delivering public addresses. Some are very reticent to deliver public speeches, while other thrive given the opportunity. The latter is not the majority in the general population, or among college students, which makes the population of college students an excellent sample to administer technology-enriched aid to assess reduction of PSA. The present case examines ongoing research of the use of an online, real-time video feedback tool in Business Communication courses at SUNY Geneseo to reduce PSA. The benefits, drawbacks, successes and challenges of this technology are also discussed both from an instructor and student perspectives. Potential application of this tool for adults in the workforce, along with tips, and tricks to help reduce PSA and improve public speaking skills, altogether, are also discussed.
