Janine M. Rowe, MSEd., NCC, is a career counselor and Assistant Director of Disability Services at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. In addition to providing developmental career counseling, she provides education and advocacy for students with disabilities and consults with employers hiring individuals with disabilities. She obtained her master’s degree in Counselor Education from The College at Brockport, SUNY. She has previously presented at New York State Career Development Association (NYSCDA), National Career Development Association (NCDA), and National Association for Colleges and Employers (NACE) Conferences and is the author of numerous articles regarding disability employment. She currently serves as the Vice President for New York State Career Development Association. Her professional interests include teaching, supervision, and developing creative ways to explore career development concepts.
