As a User Experience designer, I work with various internal teams (Technical Publications, Engineering & Software Development, Customer Service Marketing, Sales) to bring the 'voice of the end user' to the table. This position requires me to conduct internal and external research into user and customer needs, and balance these against corporate goals. It is also my responsibility to stay up to date on developments and trends in technology.
The most important issue that I see coming up as a major trend is the use of online conversational agents (bots) and machine learning as a method of communicating with users and customers about products, sales, and support issues.
